Welcome to the fourth edition of our mini-series: A tribute to Those Who Make a Difference.
Our mini-series was created to highlight and recognize the superstar employees of Hotel Ruby Foo`s. Over the years our employees have been a vital part of our success and an excellent representation of our work culture. We are proud to work with such an amazing, diverse and multi-talented team. Happy reading! A pretty porcelain ballerina with the strength and courage of a tin soldier; someone who can give you a heart attack and resurrect you after. Guess who? She is the one who assures that the Front Desk of Ruby Foo’s is working smoothly, that the employees are motivated (Flower) and disciplined (SMTH SPIKY), and that the guests are happy! Wei-Ju Chen, Assistant Front Office Manager, 13 years in Ruby Foo’s Zodiac sign – Virgo Hobbies – Playing piano, cooking, gardening Slogan – A laugh a day keeps a doctor away! Wei-Ju began to work as a part-time front desk agent in Ruby Foo’s 13 years ago and now she is playing an important role in its management. Our hotel is not just a workplace. Wei-Ju says that she found her family here, true friends that support her in good times and hard times. And we love and admire her back. We think that she has superpowers. Wei-Ju can do anything! Turn the balcony into the vegetable garden? Yes, and on the go plant flowers around Ruby Foo’s hotel. Organize a party for 50 persons? Easy, with full dinner that she cooks herself and never repreats a recepie. Marathon? Learn to play piano in a month? No problem! But instead of conquering the world, she dreams of long bike rides with kids and some calm time in the tropical paradise. Our Front Desk Assistant Manager is ready to crack a joke anytime. If you see a guest of the hotel turning purple from laughter, be sure that this is Wei-Ju welcoming him in Ruby Foo’s. But fear you not! She is also the one who will save him! Wei-Ju has a medical background, and she won’t let you see the light in the tunnel at our premises. She knows what to do with the oxygen concentrator and even the defibrillator. She would surely be a fantastic nurse, but we were lucky to discover her talent and persuade her to change the hospital to hospitality! Share
